Summary
The Quality Coordinator plays a key role in the execution and monitoring of the Quality Management System ensuring compliance to requirements is being met.
Requirements
- 1-2 years’ of experience in Quality-related field
- Associate’s Degree in related field preferred
- Working knowledge of ISO-9001Quality Management System (QMS)
- Working knowledge of warehousing/material storage and handling helpful
- Experience with AS400 Warehouse Management System (WMS) helpful
- Bilingual – Spanish a plus
Responsibilities
- Create/update part number-specific work instructions (in MS Excel)
- Participate in resolution of customer and internal quality issues
- Monitor production floor operations to help ensure compliance to quality requirements
- Perform and oversee the Internal Audit and/or Layered Audit programs
- Collect and process quality operational data for performance metrics reporting
