Labor Rocket has partnered with an automotive manufacturer in the Wixom area and is currently seeking hard-working individuals for a machine operating job. This is a long term opportunity for an individual with good attendance, attitude, and work ethic! Great opportunity for advancement into many different departments and roles.

B Crew: 6pm-6am Tuesday-Friday - $18.75/HR for quality inspectors

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work within the quality group at our New Hudson facility to support the Manufacturing, Production, and Quality initiatives for transmission systems and components.
• Utilize knowledge of inspection and measuring to perform inspections, verifying that the products are meeting design or spec requirements
• Keep records and communicate non-conformances to support quality initiatives and projects according to customer requirements

• Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
• Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database.
• Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions, calling for repairs.
• Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
• Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

SKILLS

• Needs to have IATF Audit experience
• Need to have worked with quality measurement tools
• Analyzing information, reporting research results, documentation skills
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Excellent communication skills: verbal & written
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills and the ability to work amongst cross-functional teams.
• Working knowledge of Minitab.
• High school diploma or GED required
