Quality Technician

Position Summary
The Quality Technician will be responsible for assessing material dimensional and functional integrity using multiple measurement technologies. The material to be evaluated includes incoming from suppliers, work-in-process subsystems, and final assemblies. The measurement methodologies include laser, physical gauges, and environmental testing. The Quality Technician is responsible for compiling data, generating inspection reports, and performing statistical analysis for critical to function error states.

Position Responsibilities*

• Conduct inspections, audits, and evaluations as per Orange EV Quality Control System;
• Inspections include dimensional and appearance conformance using specialized tools and gauges;
• Audits include functional conformance via performance testing;
• Work integrally with the procurement, manufacturing, and engineering teams;
• Build positive and collaborative relationships with suppliers; and
• Strive for continuous improvement in product quality, nonconformances, and support for manufacturing.

Position Qualifications

• Associates’ degree;
• Excellent verbal and written communication;
• Problem solver – adept at troubleshooting and resolving issues;
• Detailed-orientated;
• Able to review drawings in AutoCad or Autodesk Inventor; and
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Ideal Candidates Will Also Have

• Experience working in Manufacturing industries preferred; and
• Knowledge and/or experience in the vehicle industry a plus.
