JOB SUMMARY:

The CMM programmer at Polaris MCO is responsible for programming CMM equipment to meet product development & daily production needs for Indian Motorcycle and Polaris engine components. They will complete first article inspections and support daily inspection needs in a dynamic & fast-paced manufacturing environment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Program CMM’s per Polaris requirements

· Support and provide input for CMM fixture development

· Train others on proper equipment and measuring techniques

· Complete first article inspections as needed

· Develop and manage CMM maintenance routines, plans, and activities

· Troubleshoot CMM measurement issues (programming, hardware, etc.)

· Complete first article inspections

· Support Quality and Production inspection needs

· Train others on proper equipment and measuring techniques

· Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

· 2+ years of vigorous machining CMM Programming

· Strong GD&T skills in machining

· Machining background

· Strong inspection first article inspection experience

· Strong computer skills

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

· Quality Engineering background
