General Radiology Technician

Shift/Hours: Day Shift: 7am-3:30pm (5 days a week); AM Weekend 7:00am - 7:30pm; Evening Shift: 3:00pm – 11:30pm; Night Shift: 11:00pm - 7:30am; PM Weekend 7:00PM - 7:30am.

Responsibilities: Under the direction of a Radiologist and the Imaging Manager, to perform radiological procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. To perform a variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis. To assume responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required. May be assigned duties as an interim supervisor or instructor.

Must Haves: Education: Graduate from a Radiography program accredited by a mechanism acceptable to the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required. 2 year degree acceptable. Certification: BLS required. License: Currently registered as a Registered Technologist (R.T.(ARRT)) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) OR registered within one (1) year from date of hire for a new graduate required. Experience: 1 year of X-Ray experience required with time spent doing imaging in the Operating Room. No hesitancy about working throughout the hospital, including the OR to do portable imaging.

CT Technologist

Shift/Hours: 3 - 12 hr shifts, 8:00am - 8:30pm, every 3rd weekend; 7 days on, 7 days off. 8:00am - 8:30pm on Th-Sat & 10:00am -8:30pm on Sun-Wed; Day Shift: 7:30am - 4:00pm and every 4th weekend; Day Shift: 7:30am - 6:00pm (4-10 hr shifts), every 4th weekend; Evening Shift 2:00pm - 10:30pm, every 4th weekend.

Responsibilities: Under the direction of a radiologist and the CT supervisor, to perform CT procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. To perform a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative to render prescribed CT procedures.

Must Haves: Education: Graduate from an accredited School of Radiology required. 2 year degree acceptable. License: Will accept techs with Computed Tomography (CT) experience who do not currently have registration for CT (RT. (R)(CT)(AART). These candidates must register for CT within 6 months of hire. Experience: 1 year of experience in CT. Certification: BLS.

MRI Technologist

Shift/Hours: MRI Tech - 10:30am - 7pm (Kirkland location); Four 10s with varying start times between 5pm-7:30pm. (Gardendale location).

Responsibilities: Under the direction of a radiologist and the Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) manager, to perform MRI procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. To perform a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative to render prescribed MRI procedures as required. May be assigned duties as an interim supervisor or instructor.

Must Haves: Education: Graduate from a Radiology educational program accredited by a mechanism acceptable to the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required. 2 year degree acceptable. License: Will consider candidates who have MRI experience but are not currently registered with Magnetic Resonance Imaging Designation (R.T. (MR) (ARRT) but must be registered within 6 months of hire. Certification: Should have BLS. Experience: At least 2 years for MRI. Phillips systems. Experience with breast imaging. No cardiac experience required.
