Under supervision of the Director, performs leadership, clinical and administrative functions for the department. Supervisor provides associate training and competency assessment, performs quality assurance activities. Actively participates in interviewing, hiring, and coaching of associates. Completes performance evaluations and rounds actively on associates. Ensures compliance with safety rules and regulations and prepares departments for inspections. Develops and presents educational programs for radiology and patient care staff. Creates and updates policies and procedures. Performs a wide variety of routine diagnostic radiographic procedures in a digital hospital setting. Responsible for radiographic procedures in the main radiology department, Pavilion, Emergency Department, Operating Room, and portable radiography on the nursing units utilizing computed radiography, digital radiography, and PACS. Responsible for coordinating workflow, work assignments and staff scheduling.

• Graduate from an accredited Radiology Program.
• 3 Yrs. Experience Diagnostic Radiology.
  
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Current Medical Radiologic Technologist license through the Texas Medical Board
  
• Current registration through American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• CPR (American Heart Association)
