***Radiology Technician ***(Primary Care)

• Minimum of 2 (two) years of experience required.

This is a FULL TIME/TEMP TO HIRE position, located in Chesapeake, VA (23322) requiring availability between the hours of:

It will alternate weeks, depending on the month it will be 2 to 3 Saturdays.
M- 10-7
Tuesday – 8-3:30
Wednesday – 10-7
Thursday – Off
Friday – 10-7
Saturday - 9-4

M- 10-7
Tuesday – 8-4
Wednesday – 10-7
Thursday – 8-4
Friday – 10-7
Saturday – off

ALTERNATING WEEKENDS REQUIRED

Responsibilities :
A Day in the life of a Radiology Tech (Primary Care) :

As a Radiology Technician, you will be responsible for providing a variety of high quality radiographs through proper position and techniques and complete pre-assessments of patient by reviewing history and collecting current information. The Radiology Tech will also perform diagnostic studies as requested by the provider. Must be able to demonstrate regard for the dignity and respect for all patients and their families, guests, and representatives of other organizations, as well as fellow employees, and support staff. Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient and department information with no infractions as noticed by the supervisor. The Radiology Technician will be required to attend orientations, meetings, and in-services.

Requirements for the Radiology Tech (Primary Care) :

• Required: 2+ years as a Radiology Tech (Primary Care)
• Required: Valid Virginia Radiology Technician License through DHP
• Required: BLS
• Required: COVID vaccination or medical waiver
• Required: Ability to pass Background Check and Drug Screen
• Required: Must be reliable and a quick learner and have ability to multi-task with accuracy in a very busy environment
• Required: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Required: Ability to work as a team

Preferred Qualifications for the Radiology Tech (Primary Care) :

• Preferred: Urgent Care or Primary Care Experience
