Role Description
As a Radiology Technician, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans, to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
Radiology Technician Responsibilities

Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging procedures Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including X-ray machines, CT scanners, and MRI scanners Administer contrast agents as needed for certain procedures Follow radiation safety guidelines and protocols to ensure the safety of patients, staff, and yourself Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for each patient Monitor and document patient vital signs and responses to imaging procedures Educate patients on the imaging procedures and ensure their comfort and well-being throughout the process Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to infection control and safety protocols Stay current on developments in imaging technology by attending continuing education courses and workshops
Radiology Technician Requirements

Active Radiology Technician certification or license Minimum of 1 years of experience in diagnostic imaging Strong knowledge of diagnostic imaging procedures and equipment, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) and other healthcare technology
