The position of Radiology Technologist is responsible for preparing patients and supplies for procedures, assisting the physician obtain images, and maintaining a clean, organized operating room.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Arrives at least 30 minutes prior to scheduled start times dependably and punctually.
Check C-arm and other equipment for use before procedures.
Prepares and opens supplies for procedures.
Assists patients with transfer from stretcher to OR table.
Performs patient skin preparation.
Positions the C-arm for the physician to obtain adequate images.
Cleans and organizes the room before and after procedures.
Purchases supplies and maintains accurate inventory to forecast needs and prevent any supply-chain lapse, with ongoing monitoring of costs, availability of new or improved supply options, and awareness of current vendor arrangements.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS
The position requires an Associate Degree in Radiology, valid and current Arkansas licensure, and two (2) years of prior radiology technician experience.
HOURS
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are expected to include 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional overtime may be required.
