HVAC Project Manager

JOB DUTIES:

• Evaluate, interpret and accurately understand bid/estimate HVAC projects for

Plan/Spec and Design/build projects per ITBs, RFPs, Contracts, Addendums, Mechanical Drawings and Plan Specifications (including labor, materials and subcontractors).

• Maintain tracking info for all estimating projects.
• Perform site surveys and attend pre-bid walkthroughs as needed.
• Establish/maintain excellent relationships with General Contractor clients, supply vendors, engineers, architects, and local codes officials.
• Manage administrative duties related to contracted jobs: contract coordination, submittals, permitting, supply orders/tracking/delivery, change-orders, project meetings and closeout documentation.
• Coordinate with Field Operations Manager during installation to ensure all projects are performed as planned/contracted.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to read and interpret HVAC/R mechanical, electrical, piping specifications and project design prints, thorough understanding of ductwork sizing and air flow requirements for systems.
• 2-5 years’ experience estimating HVAC mechanical proposals.
• Organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated and dependable.
• Strong communication (written and verbal) skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
• Effective relationship building and selling skills.
• Experience with Word, Excel, Google Docs, PlanGrid, ProCore, AutoCAD and Quotesoft preferred.
