Valiant Integrated Services is looking for an experienced, highly skilled Range Electronic Technician I to join our professional team at Fort Stewart, GA providing support to the Army Training Aids, Devices, Simulators and Simulations (TADSS) Maintenance Program (ATMP). ATMP brings to bear the full capabilities of many of the world's best systems integration and engineering companies in the technical integration of live, virtual, and constructive (LVC) training support. ATMP operations support the installation and training mission to provide realistic joint and combined arms training focused on developing soldiers, leaders, and units of the United States military for success on the 21st Century Battlefield.

Primary System: DMPRC, DMPTR, AGR, ASH, LOMAH, CACTF

Essential Job Duties:

Includes, but not limited to:

• Provide maintenance support to a variety of SRP training devices including, but not limited to: DMPRC, DMPTR, AGR, ASH, and CACTF.
• Set-up, operates, maintains, repairs, and installs various types of electronic equipment and related devices such as electronic transmitting and receiving equipment (e.g., radio, television, telecommunications, and navigational aids), and industrial and measuring equipment.
• Will be required to operate targetry system, perform install/de-install, and range maintenance tasks.
• May be required to apply technical knowledge of electronics principals in determining equipment malfunctions and applies skills in restoring equipment operations.
• Operates theater equipment in support of customer presentations and AARs.
• Will support routine periodic maintenance and perform repairs as needed on equipment.
• Perform required documentation in accordance with established procedures; consults the shift lead for clarification of standard procedures and non-routine customer issues.
• Document all maintenance actions by inputting data in MIS.
• May receive technical guidance from senior level technicians.
• May be required to support other devices and will be cross-trained, as needed.

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and wear appropriate personal protective equipment as appropriate.
• Ability to perform duties in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, wind and rain) and at height (towers and phone poles).
• Must be willing to work a flexible workweek.
• Must have or be able to obtain a valid state driver license and maintain post driving privileges.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background investigation and drug screening.
• May be required to obtain Secret security clearance.
• This position may require travel to other installations and other ATMP locations throughout CONUS and OCONUS.

Minimum Job Requirements (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Other Abilities):

• Preferred: HS Diploma (AA Degree desirable/Experience Equivalent to Degree) with 2 years of recent electrical/electronic industrial work experience; Minimum 2 years of experience with electrical systems and /or repair of electronic components.
• May consider experience in lieu of formal education (military training, technical school, and/or professional experience).
