Full Job Description

Security Receptionist must have knowledge, experience, or education in 24-hour security monitoring, risk management, secure inventory management, customer service, and incident management and have the ability to comply with security requirements set forth by state of CA

Essential Job Functions

  • Access controls (Employees, operators, patients, contractors, and subcontractors)
  • Follow all procedures and policies surrounding safety, security and compliance.
  • Ensure and monitor safety of all staff, customers, and vendors while arriving and leaving property

Quality Control - Material and Equipment Inventory Management

The Security Receptionist must assist in maintaining value-add controls and protocols regarding the intake, inspection, placement, and maintenance of all new products.

  • Receive and verify materials against receiving document
  • Document inspection, integrity, and placement process using Intake Logs
  • Report all discrepancies and damages
  • Ensure proper placement of products
  • Report all information to the Director of Operations or General Manager

Other Functions and Duties

  • Greeting of all Patients both entering and exiting
  • Verifying/validating all customers information upon check in
  • Verifying/validating all transports/ product movement

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must have valid State Issued Driver's License
  • Excellent skills in information collection and analysis procedures with a view to recognizing potential threats and dangers.
  • An ability to exercise sound and strong management skills in times of crisis and emergencies.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills including the production of policy and procedure papers supporting secure production and retail operations
  • Ability to provide instructions clearly and concisely both orally and in writing.
  • A high sense of discretion and integrity when dealing with sensitive information.
  • High degree of responsibility, initiative, alertness, physical fitness, emotional stability, the ability to prioritize a heavy workload and to delegate accordingly.
  • Demonstrates sound judgment in security operation and information management skills.
  • Professional attitude and the ability to build successful working relationships with vendors and other external stakeholders
  • Demonstrate an integrated approach and attitude through normal work activities and a thorough understanding of the unique security needs of a cannabis business.
  • Team-oriented approach - encourage positive and diffuse negative behavior
  • Take a Solutions-oriented, value-added, and proactive approach towards challenges
  • Contribute and lead by example to drive efficiencies and always improve organization performance and talent
  • Knowledge, education, or experience in 24-hour security monitoring, risk management, secure inventory management, and incident management a plus
  • Must have outstanding Customer Service Skills
