Receptionist
Description of Responsibilities
The Receptionist is responsible for answering phone calls and scheduling Follow Up Appointments,
checking patients in and out, creating charge tickets for DME and closing at the end of the day.

Scope of Supervision
Responsibilities of the Data Entry Clerk include the following:
1. Enter correct data into system efficiently.
2. Answer phone calls during clinic hours.
3. Schedule follow up appointments, send out paperwork to patients if needed and confirm their appointments.
4. Run credit card payments and make copies for billing.
5. You will have an assigned week to clean all four bathrooms daily and take out the garbage in the kitchen. Make sure you sign the sheet on the back of the door stating you have completed the cleaning for each bathroom daily.
6. Keep up with Spreadsheet for clinic billing and balance at the end of each day.
7. Make sure the waiting room is clean at the beginning and end of each day and lock up.
8. Prepare charts for the following week’s clinic appointments.
9. Participate in surveys conducted by authorized inspection agencies.
10. Participate in the Company’s Performance Management program as requested by the Performance Management Coordinator.
11. Participate in Company committees when requested.
12. Pursue continuing education programs appropriate to job responsibilities.
13. Cross Train on other positions in the office to cover when needed and perform other duties as assigned by Office Manager.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Effective interpersonal, time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills in speaking and writing.
- Organizational skills sufficient to maintain consistently accurate records.
