The Physical Therapy Rehab Clinic Receptionist performs a variety of administrative support functions and activities for Rehabilitation Services Department, and is responsible for maintaining a smooth functioning office as outlined in this job description. This position is for our Mckinleyville, CA Clinic.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

· Physical, auditory and visual requirements as stated in attached copy of the Job Task Analysis.

· Emotional stability conducive to dealing with a high stress level for 8 hours at a time associated to dealing with fast-paced physical activity, rapidly changing conditions, creative problem solving, emotional demands and demands of maintaining effective working relationship with patients and peers.

· Knowledgeable in medical terminology.

· Knowledgeable in insurance billing requirements and procedures including prior authorization.

· Excellent working knowledge of computer programs, fax, multi phone lines, and other office equipment.

· High level of organizational skills with keen mental faculties to perform assessment and decision making skills in the management of office duties.

· Current CPR certification
