As part of our Recovery and Resolutions team, you’ll assist the team to resolve complicated accounts and analyze trends. This is a challenging role with serious impact. You’ll need to sort through complex situations to understand and clarify where errors happened or where they may continue to happen. It’s a fast-paced environment that takes focus, intensity and resilience.
This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of (8:00am - 8:00pm). It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. including hours outside of normal business hours.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Investigation and resolution of all types of advanced level processing efforts related to discontinued products, pricebook updates, overall stage concerns and other complicated system issues.
- Initiate phone calls to members, providers and other teams to gather critical details in order to resolve complex transactions.
- Analyze trends and coordinate with IT/ORPI/Other teams as necessary to monitor for system defects and recommend enhancement opportunities.
- Research critical transactions identified by the Finance-Accounting reporting month-end process.
- Perform analysis of work completion to ensure accurate information and tracking for our capacity plans.
- Support Resolutions and Claims Leadership Team with account processing needs (work assignments, refund approvals, etc).
- Serves as a resource for others
- Other project related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma / GED (or higher) OR equivalent work experience
- 1+ years of experience analyzing and solving customer problems
- Intermediate level of Microsoft Excel (data entry, sorting/filtering, pivot tables)
- Ability to work an 8 hour shift between 8:00am – 8:00pm including the flexibility to work occasional overtime per business need
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in the health care environment
Telecommuting Requirements:
- Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
- Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
- Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $21.68 - $38.56. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $23.94 - $42.40.
