POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for interviewing, testing, and referring applicants for clerical, technical, administrative and management positions throughout the Company. Considerable skill in interviewing techniques, a good knowledge of all clerical and specialized functions in the Company, a basic understanding of the Company's organizational structure as well as an extensive knowledge of personnel policy and procedure and federal and state laws regarding employment practices.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follow up with the related clerical aspects of employment, notifying the department of employee's starting date and the requisition the employee is filling, etc.
- Assist in recruitment efforts.
- Work with vocational rehabilitative departments across the country to build relationships while employing their consumers.
- Act as liaison with area employment agencies, preparation and liaison with advertising agencies, processing and checking advertising agency billings, liaison with temporary agencies, recording status of authorized positions within the corporations, employment verifications, employee referral program.
- Completion of weekly report on employment activity

Supervisory Responsibility:
There is no supervisory responsibility associated with this position
Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers with multiple monitors, phones and headsets, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This position is classified as full-time, non-exempt. Business hours of operation are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Travel:
There is minimal travel associated with this position.
PREFERRED Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum intermediate expertise with Microsoft Work, Excel and Outlook
- Experience with multiple database systems
- 1-2 years’ experience with Human Resources and recruiting practices and theories strongly preferred
