The Colleague Experience Group (CEG), formerly known as Human Resources, at American Express seeks to provide a great colleague experience every day. The Global Talent Acquisition function is going through a strategic recruitment transformation, deploying robotics & process automation tools and modernizing recruitment infrastructure to focus on business talent priorities and improve end-to-end process experience.

Global Talent Acquisition is looking for a Recruitment Coordinator to join our team and support our Corporate and Business Functions. The Recruitment Coordinator will be responsible for assisting the Recruiter and Hiring Leader with tasks and activities throughout the hiring lifecycle such as leading screening and interviewing logistics, tracking candidate progress in applicable Recruiting technologies, initiating and managing the background verification process of candidates, triaging and resolving issues, and creating offer and contract documentation. Responsibilities:

  • Help ensure a seamless end-to-end experience for candidates, hiring leaders and recruiters

  • Utilize available recruiting technologies to handle logistics and scheduling for first round interview, teleconferences, and in-person interviews for all participants

  • Update Global Recruiting process and policy documentation as required

  • Assist with planning and logistics of recruiting events

  • Post campaigns to appropriate sourcing sites when needed

  • Send relevant interview guides to Hiring Leaders

  • Schedule debrief meeting with Hiring Leader and Recruiter, distribute requisite tools and templates to support the evaluation process, and disposition candidate post-interview

  • Support recruiter in generating and sending offers and contracts to candidates, as well as disposition correspondence as needed

  • Initiate pre-hire activities including background checks and drug screens

  • Escort candidates during on-site interview to help ensure a positive interviewing experience

  • Provide support for ad hoc reporting requests as needed

  • extensive interview scheduling including Hiring Drives, WebEx, HireVue, TelePresence, In Person, and offsite locations

Qualifications


  • A minimum of two years of recruitment coordinator or related experience; preferably within a financial services or technology organization

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

  • Experience with recruitment tools, technologies, and platforms such as Taleo preferred

  • Ability to collaborate with candidates, hiring leaders and teammates in an engaging and persuasive manner

  • Experience working in a fast-paced customer centric environment preferred

Salary Range: $24.05 to $48.10 hourly + bonus + benefits
