Job description
1. Must learn how to start and stop all areas of the line.2. Must learn alarms, and how to troubleshoot and fix each one.
3. Knows how to measure tile with a caliper.
4. Knowing the correct measurements for each format
5. Make sure your line is running up to spec on all aspects.
6. Stop line if you notice excessive amount of defected product.
7. Report any unsafe issues to your supervisor immediately. MUST WEAR APPROPRIATE PPE.
8. Pay attention to remove defective tile from line.
9. Read and interpret gauges on machine.
10. Record all data from machine and complete daily paperwork as specified by your supervisor.
11. Be able to read, write and to have basic math and computer
skills. Ability to operate mechanical equipment and perform basic
mechanical functions. Be able to make decisions on his/her own.
12. Must have good listening and communication skills and work well with other team members.
13. Be willing to work with others in different departments as needed or required.
Always be willing to be a Team player with everyone in or out of your department.
14. Keep the work area safe and organized at all times.
15. Keep work area free of clutter, perform housekeeping daily.
Any other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
16. Knowing how to change Grinding wheels, bevel wheels, polishing stones, and polishing pads.
($1 Shift Differential)
Tues-Thurs: 4pm-1am & Fri-Sat: 6pm-3am
