The Institute on Development and Disability within the Department of Pediatrics at OHSU works with patients, families, clinicians, researchers and many other professionals to meet the goal of improving the lives of people with disabilities. We perform research and care to support every patient, from premature babies to older adults, facing changes in life due to the onset of disabling conditions. With more than 100 years of practice, we understand how to best meet the needs of our patients and their families in Oregon and beyond.

The Eugene campus of the Child Development and Rehabilitation Center provides interdisciplinary clinical services for persons with developmental disabilities and other special health care needs. CDRC Eugene programs and services are provided at the Clinical Services Building on the University of Oregon campus.
Function/Duties of Position
The CDRC Clinic Referral Coordinator is the initial point of contact for referring practices and their staff to send patients to OHSU. Through high level triage, facilitation and problem solving, this individual ensures patient referrals are complete to ensure scheduling efficiencies across the CDRC clinics. This individual will identify challenges and barriers of access for the patient and coordinate with the referring providers to ensure patients are seen in a timely manner. This position works closely with referred patients, referring providers, CDRC providers, and ambulatory clinics across OHSU.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years’ experience working in a hospital ambulatory clinic, OR an Associate’s degree plus 4 years’ experience working in a hospital ambulatory clinic, OR a high school diploma plus 6 years’ experience working in a hospital ambulatory clinic.
- Knowledge of multiple ambulatory workflows, ability to create and work with spreadsheets to track and disseminate data, high quality customer service, ability to work under pressure in busy environment, timeliness, and high levels of organization.
