Job description
Recruit, train, support brokers and market the company products to generate new business and manage the servicing of existing business in an assigned territory.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Recruit and recommend appointment of qualified agents for Farm and Ranch & Commercial Agribusiness.
  • Facilitate broker meetings and promote Chubb Agribusiness products and services. Partner with brokers and underwriting team to obtain pertinent underwriting information. Provide exceptional customer service to our brokers that promotes the partnership and growth.
  • Conducts territorial analysis that identifies market share opportunity-based target markets and broker distribution. Implements business plan based on objectives set forth with brokers and submits to Agri Business manager for approval. Conducts monthly broker meetings to asses where they are to plan vs actual.
  • Establish effective working partnership within agribusiness group as well as within the Chubb organization. May coordinate and speak at Agricultural meetings.
  • Work within Chubb Agribusiness to develop and implement approved advertising and marketing campaigns with key brokers. Agribusiness Specialist will also be asked to work on project for assigned territory as necessary.
Qualifications
This Position will report to the AVP of Agribusiness Marketing. The Regional Agribusiness Specialist will have personal premium growth goals as well as targeted profitability goals. This position will encompass the Marketing of both Commercial Ag and Farm & Ranch products in the assigned territory.

Minimum Requirements:
  • BA/BS degree required and extensive sales & marketing experience desired
  • General knowledge of property & casualty insurance
  • General knowledge of agribusiness property & casualty insurance a plus
  • General knowledge of underwriting rules pertaining to agribusiness
  • Ability to recruit and train agents.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work well with people in a team environment.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and maintain business relationships with customers
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to travel when necessary- 50% of time
  • Effective presentation skills.
