As the Regional Care Specialist, you will:

...be responsible for overseeing clinical operations at one or more Enlivant communities on an interim basis. While supervising the clinical operations at the community, the Regional Care Specialist is responsible for leading residential case management and providing clinical oversight to all community staff. In addition, you will provide additional clinical support to fully staffed Enlivant communities on an as needed basis.


What you’ll do here:

  • Assist in the recruitment and selection of Care Services Managers (CSM’s). The Regional Care Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that the orientation and training of the community nurse is thorough and timely. Assists the Regional Director of Care Services to ensure the new Care Services Manager achieves success in their role.
  • Work closely with Operations and Sales to orient and train team members on the Enlivant Achieving Excellence Quality Improvement Program & Tools.
  • While assigned to a Residence, ensure that qualified management and line staff are hired and trained, and company policies, Resource Guides and forms are implemented and followed.
  • Ensure that residents are appropriately assessed and receive appropriate services as documented on the Resident Service Plan. Charges for care are accurate and reflect the needs addressed in the assessment.
  • Promptly investigate incidents/accidents and complaints and reports findings and appropriate recommendations to senior leadership. Follows the Enlivant Incident Reporting Guidelines.
  • Ensure that follow-up communication occurs to complainants and that substantiated complaints are resolved to reasonable satisfaction of complainant. Encourage the use of the Quality Connection 800 Line for residents and family members.
  • Ensure the delivery of standardized or specialized training programs for front line staff at the community.
  • Provide skills competency testing of staff, as required.
  • Assist the regional and community leadership teams with resolution of difficult staffing and scheduling issues.
  • Maintain a high degree of awareness of trends and changes affecting the Residences.
  • Performs other tasks/duties as assigned.


We’d love to talk if:

  • You are a Registered Nurse
  • You have a current/active, unencumbered state nursing license in state of practice/residency
  • You have education or experience sufficient to meet position requirements or as required by State regulations
  • You can work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays and overtime, to meet the requirements of the position
  • You meet all mandatory health requirements by State regulations
  • You maintain CPR and/or First Aid Certification as required by State regulations
  • You partake in continuing education annually or as required by State Board of Nursing
  • You can travel extensively within the division
  • You care about serving seniors
  • You have strong relationship building skills


Bonus points if:

  • You have previous experience as a Health and Wellness Director, Nurse Manager, Charge Nurse or Clinical Director
  • You have previous experience managing multiple locations (multi-site)
  • You have a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in nursing
  • You are empathetic and a good listener
  • You remain flexible and adaptable
  • You work harmoniously with other employees and develop/maintain good employee relations and employee morale
  • You express compassion for residents, staff, and guests on a consistent basis
  • You engage others in fun and creative activities
  • You strive for excellence in all aspects of the job
  • You work with integrity in all interactions

Salary Range: $85000 - $107000, Based on experience.
