REGIONAL DISTRIBUTION CENTER MANAGER

Position Summary:

We are currently in search for a hands-on multi-tasking leader enthusiastic about service excellence for our Distribution Center in Culpeper County VA . This position entails leading all aspects of a 30,000 square foot distribution center with 10 hourly warehouse and driver associates. Candidates should also have a demonstrated history of coaching teams to success and driving the highest levels of safety, quality, performance, and productivity.

Position Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain a business culture where all employees are engaged and commit to safety, quality, efficiency, and process improvement.
• Lead and direct the day-to-day activities of the warehouse, including shipping, receiving, inventory control; and fleet and facilities management.
• Review, evaluate, and audit all standard operating procedures, metrics, and performance KPIs with the purpose of improving service levels and efficiency and identifying cost savings opportunities.
• Achieve key operating and Logistics performance goals
• Maintain compliance with company policies, standard operating procedures, federal and state labor laws, and OSHA and DOT regulations.
• Review, audit and approve payroll and expenses
• Implement company Logistics strategies, programs, and projects
• Perform other duties as obvious or assigned.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years’ management experience in a Distribution Center / Fulfillment Center environment required.
• Strong ability to communicate effectively and respond to urgent situations
• Warehouse Management System experience
• Solid understanding of Federal DOT, Safety and OSHA standards
• Minimum High School Diploma: Associates Degree or equivalent education preferred.
