We are seeking a Regional Lighting Manager to provide leadership, sales management, strategy, sales execution and market analysis to lead our California lighting team of Line of Business Specialists.
Position Overview:

  • Provide Outdoor Lighting support to field Business Development Managers, Key Account Managers and Store Personnel as needed.
  • Formulate solutions to complex Line of Business (LOB) customer problems, develop area(s) for maximum Lighting by working in conjunction with Area Leadership.
  • Detailed market analysis of current opportunities, growth plans for sustained growth, & team development to support initiatives.
  • Consistently increase the gross margin in Outdoor Lighting Line/Outdoor Audio Line of Business in the area/region year over year.
  • Participate in the sales process with Business Development Managers, Key Account Managers, & Line of Business Specialists providing key sales support and business development for lighting/audio customers.
  • Coordinate product demonstrations using vendors as necessary, including night-time & audio demonstrations.
  • Participate in Regional/Area Strategic Planning meetings/presentations to forecast growth, opportunities, & go to market strategies.
  • Maintain Lighting Category inventory strategy, pricing, key vendor relationships, marketing programs, vendor co-op, and sales promotions to grow revenue, share, and profitability.
  • Constantly demonstrate professional and technical knowledge through speaking engagements, writing of white papers, and development customer/field support lit solution-focused sales tools and processes to maximize growth with assigned accounts
  • Develop marketing programs, area level support, detailed product analysis, SKU rationalization, Regional level support of market needs for growth and profitability.
  • Ensure that customers are aware of and fully utilizing all of SiteOne’s capabilities including SiteOne University, vendor support, and Partner’s Program

Skills We Are Seeking::

  • High school, secondary diploma or equivalent required; College degree preferred
  • 1 – 3 years of product line experience – required
  • In-depth technical knowledge of product line
  • Presentation and communication skills
  • Basic computer skills - Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Strong communication, organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to communicate value proposition and differentiate SiteOne's products and services
  • Sales Management of Line of Business Specialist Team
  • Ability to think quickly and make decisions
