The Regional Property Manager will oversee the daily operations of 8-9 properties with a total of 1,100 units. Maintain positive resident relations, meet the financial objectives of ownership and management, protect the value and integrity of the real estate, and be responsible for all applicable regulatory standards and requirements. Supervise a team of 4 Property Managers and/or Senior Property Managers in the East Bay and South Bay.
This position is offering $110,000 - $130,000 yearly.
Responsibilities
- Plans, manages, and directs the daily operations of multiple properties
- Oversees compliance within these properties
- Manages the financial responsibilities of the properties including annual budget
- With the assistance of the Regional Maintenance Managers, identifies and coordinates the maintenance activities and priorities within budgetary limits of each property within the portfolio
- Responsible for the marketing activities of the properties to ensure budgeted occupancy goals
- Manages staff at each property location including Leasing and Compliance, Maintenance personnel, and others
- Coordinates social activities with onsite management to ensure resident satisfaction and retention
- Assesses property security requirements and recommend changes as necessary
Requirements
- High School diploma/GED Equivalent required
- Minimum of 3-5 years regional or area property management experience managing multiple properties (10 properties or more), lease up preferred
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience direct supervision of staff
- Experience in affordable housing, TCAC, HUD and layered programs required
- Prefer any of the following certifications: CAM/CPM or equivalent and HUD-CAM, CPO, NAHP, COS, TCCS, and SHCM
- Proficient in MS Office, One-Site, Real Page software
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing work schedules, requirements, and scope
- Cooperative and engaging team spirit with collaborative work groups
- Significant customer service and client relations experience
- A valid Driver’s License required
- Local travel required, on the field a minimum of 3 days a week
