Responsibilities Text
Tasks & Responsibilities: Core tasks include but are not limited to Analyzing presented opportunities and delivering pricing solutions for ocean transportation and the related procurement and administration of ocean contracts with shipping lines, according to product / company strategy and guidelines. Provide competitive pricing solutions for refrigerated and healthcare ocean freight shipments to internal and external customers based on current market conditions. Request/Negotiate buying conditions with shipping lines in accordance with company procurement strategy.

• Administratively manage shipping line contracts. Complete RFI & RFQ's as part of the Tender Process. Ensure proper data and knowledge transfer between pricing and operations departments + aid in the implementation process of new business. Ensure internal + external quote compliance. Serves as a subject matter expert - assists and support in Business Development Participate in projects and exercises as per management direction.

Qualification Text
Details/Specification/Explanation of the role specific skills This is an intermediate level position. Exceptional interpersonal and analytical skills required. Strong analytical and negotiation skills required. Advanced proficient computer skills in MS Office required. Fluency in English language required. Bachelor's degree or equivalent strongly preferred. Generally, prefer 2-4 years of related experience. Advanced understanding of Ocean
Freight, including an awareness of Regional economic factors that can influence the shipping industry and Ocean market development preferred.
