What You’ll Do: Crossroads Equipment Lease & Finance, LLC is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to support our North East Region. This position develops and maintains the performance of our used truck financing market.
The Regional Sales Manager’s effectiveness in the used truck financing market contributes directly to our company’s performance and profitability as a lender. General Duties/Responsibilities: Financial Responsibilities Prepares, forecasts and sets annual budget-change to monthly and yearly Reviews monthly budget and department performance reports Reviews the sales numbers avidly Conducts weekly meetings to review performance and profitability Reviews financial statements; understands how to read and analyze financial statements for underwriting consideration Generates ideas for creating new revenue streams Studies trends to determine how to increase profitability Reviews sales performance and motivates to achieve goals Reviews and analyzes monthly reports to increase profitability Sales Duties Develops and maintains a thorough knowledge of used truck financing market products and pricing Identifies leads, manages prospects and acquires new business Meets or exceeds new business sales goals Schedules and documents activities Prepares and delivers proposals/presentations to customers and key decision makers when appropriate Prepares and drafts sales agreements and other paperwork needed to complete the sale in a timely manner when appropriate Develops and maintains an awareness of the market behavior and competitive trends and responds accordingly Regularly meets with sales team to review sales activities, progress on goals and status of prospective customers-remove Personnel Supervisory Duties Establishes departmental goals and sales quotas with management team Develops and communicates the company’s values, vision and mission Selects employees for hire, discipline and termination Provides an environment of mutual trust and respect Demands the highest ethical standards from staff and management Provides training, coaching, counseling to employees Communicates job expectations and monitors progress Appraises and reviews job contributions and sales contributions Motivates and retains quality personnel Enforces policies and procedures Holds weekly sales calls Provides rate sheets Customer Service Responsibilities Maintains excellent customer service standards Communicates customer service standards to department personnel and management Exceeds customers’ expectations Resolves customer complaints and provides conflict resolution to customers Visits customers to provide and maintain excellent customer relations Qualifications/Requirements: • Ten (10) or more years’ experience in sales department of trucking industry • Excellent sales experience • Supervisory experience • Must demonstrate integrity • Excellent customer service skills • Strong communication skills • Managerial skills experience • Must exhibit leadership qualities • Must exhibit teamwork qualities • Shows Initiative • Strong verbal and writing skills • Computer proficiency and accounting skills • Professional personal Compensation: $150,000/yr + Commission This job description is intended to describe the general nature, complexity and level of work to be performed by employees assigned to this position, and is not to be construed as an exhaustive list of responsibilities, duties and/or skills required.
