Job Description


Danfoss has an opening for a Remote Regional Warehouse Operations Supervisor to join our team. This is a work from home opportunity managing warehouse operations in the region. This position is responsible for storing goods, giving customers the desired availability, reliability and logistic services within customization, shipping and distribution.

Job Responsibilities


  • KPI Tracking and Reporting - Creating visibility and transparency to divisions. Allocation of Service, cost to divisions
  • Implement and Maintain WMS - Ensure proper use of WMS/SAP process regionally, meeting business and customer needs.
  • Oversee Special Needs Services - Repack, labelling, kitting, partial assembly, special packing, etc. Expedite and re-route via ADHOC request - flexible and agile
  • Evaluate workflow seeking constant improvement and increase utilizations and effectiveness. Reduce complexity and standardize offering
  • Responsible for day to day Warehouse Operations - Inventory management, cycle counts, blocking, minor repair, repacking. Receive, inspect, book-in. Cross docking. Pick, pack and ship.
  • Align with other functions - working cross functionally, improving supply chain processes.
  • Negotiate/Re-negotiate existing 3PL contracts
  • Provide quotes and Negotiate additional warehouse contracts as business/customer requires.

Background & Skills


  • Bachelor of Science or Arts Desired (not Required)
  • Equivalent work experience 5-10 years
  • Understanding warehouse Process and Set-up, logistics, people management, teaching and training where needed
  • Familiar with refrigeration and air conditioning components
  • Strong leadership with very good problem-solving skills
  • PC Skills – Microsoft Products, SAP, Business Warehouse
