Sunnyhill Inc. is a non-profit 501c organization that provides services, programs, and opportunities for children and adults with developmental disabilities. Sunnyhill serves over 1,000 individuals annually, ages 4-85, in six St. Louis metropolitan counties.
As a Behavior Technician at Sunnyhill, you will work as part of a committed and supportive Team to provide 1:1 behavioral intervention service to children and adults with special needs, and support to their respective families. Behavior Technicians are responsible for implementing Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) based on programs directed by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst and/or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst.
If you are not already RBT Certified, Sunnyhill will provide the required training.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

• Completes, and keeps current on, required certifications and registrations.
• Assists in implementing behavioral programming in a 1:1 setting.
• Collects data on all programming and writes progress notes.
• Advises and consults with the family and other agency personnel.
• Participates in in-service programs and presents in-service programs as assigned.
• Participates with all other health care personnel in patient care planning.
• Directs and supervises assistant (RBT, Behavior Technician) personnel as required.
• With the BCBA/BCaBA, instructs patients and family/significant others in home programs and protocols.
• Observes confidentiality and safeguards all patient related information.

Requirements:Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Must possess and demonstrate highly effective time management skills.
• Demonstrates sound judgment, critical thinking and decision making.
• Maintains current CPR certification.
• Must possess current Drivers License and Auto Insurance
