Registered Nurse- ED FT
Role Summary:
Responsible for assessing, implementing, and evaluating care for various patients within the facility. Reports directly to the Clinical Director of the unit. This position works in conjunction with other members of nursing service, ancillary services, physicians, patients, and families. It collaborates with various members of the healthcare team to ensure quality of care across the continuum. Requires the ability to be self-directed and quality focused. Interpersonal communication skills are a necessary function of this position.
Department Summary:
The Vanderbilt Wilson County Hospital Emergency Department is a busy and growing 15 bed ED with a 4 bed Fast Track. The ED utilizes the Epic EMR for documentation of visits. Shifts are 12 hours with every other weekend required as well as holiday rotation.
Position Shift:
- Nights 7pm-7am / PRN
- Weekend rotation required
- Holiday rotation required

Graduate of an approved discipline specific program (or equivalent experience) and 6 months relevant experience
Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration (LCR):
- Registered Nurse Required

- Heavy Work category requiring exertion of 50 to 100 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 20 to 50 lbs. of force frequently and/or up to 10 to 20 lbs. of force continually to move objects
