General Accountabilities

• Shows patient to treatment room.
• Aids therapist or therapist assistant in body positioning and transfers of patients.
• Takes and records patients' temperature and blood pressure.
• Prepares hot/cold packs for patients.
• Washes, drys and prepares laundry including pillowcases, sheets and towels necessary for patient treatment.
• Wipes down instruments, machines, and tools for clinic sterility.
• Answers telephone, schedules appointments, and records treatment information on patients chart.

Job Summary

Functions under the direct supervision of the physical therapist, physical therapist assistant, occupational therapist, and speech therapist responsible for a specific patient’s care. Responsible for the patient flow, vital signs, and materials/equipment organization within the rehabilitation department.

Job Qualifications

• Education: Associate’s degree
• Experience: 2-3 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
