Sales and Marketing RTE Manager
Context:
The RTE works with the Sales and Mkt Portfolio Manager and Program Managers, agile coaches, Product Managers, POs, Scrum Masters, Scrum Teams, Enterprise Architects, and Release Management to define and optimize the flow of value delivery for interdependent initiatives under the program.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the creation of an overall train roadmap.
- Updates and maintains the program board under the portfolio board
- Manage actual IT costs and forecasts against budget through the project life cycle
- Responsible for documenting and maintaining feature/capability release tracker.
- Facilitates weekly ART sync to determine what features/capabilities will be ready to release in upcoming releases.
- Identify risks and concerns for features’ releases
- Escalate prioritization and release delay decisions as needed.
- Partner with Release Management to align in sequence and timing of technology deliverables
- Partners with Scrum Masters, POs to understand status and make sure release impediments are logged in Jira and getting prioritized in order to keep releases on schedule.
- Coordinates with deployment teams in charge of deployment on status of releases and making sure understand both current and future release scope, timeline, and status.
- Proactively works with product release trains to ensure all future features/capabilities meet
- Utilize JIRA dashboards to monitor the release cycle.
- Continuously communicating agile best-practices across the organization.
- Improving ritual consistency and efficacy within agile teams and the engineering organization
- Helping agile teams to become self-organizing
- Working with product management to help teams understand features and goals for each sprint / release
- Improving backlog decomposition and estimation.
- Consolidating, triaging, and making recommendations based on retrospective feedback.
- Using metrics to implement continuous improvement across the agile development lifecycle.
- Capture, analyze, and understand agile metrics.
- Improve risk management practices
- Improve blocker remediation practices.
- Improve Jira workflows and custom fields to optimize execution.
- Implement best practices for capturing and implementing feedback.
- Build information radiators for development teams to disseminate information throughout the organization.
Requirements
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills:
- Must be skilled at software development cycle and Agile methodology
- Experience with JIRA & Confluence
- Must have experience leading and facilitating groups of people through a process
- Ability to facilitate large groups of people
- Ability to develop and coordinate release plans
- Ability to lead teams and leaders of teams through a process
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong organizational skills
- Must be organized
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $52.97 - $63.03 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Experience:
- Enterprise Project Office (EPO): 4 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Program Delivery Roadmaps (Preferred)
