**Position is 100% remote- but LOCAL to the Hershey area. Employee may need to come on-site to support system upgrades and go-lives.**


SUMMARY OF POSITION :

Working under general supervision, this position is responsible for project leadership and ongoing information technology management for one or more small-to-medium sized operational areas within the Medical Center, with a focus on Oracle Cerner CORE applications. Job duties would include:

  • Regularly meeting with users, vendors, and IS staff to develop/modify system specifications.
  • Perform system testing and documentation for all phases of the application development life cycle.
  • Provide on-call support as scheduled.



MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Either: (a) Bachelor ' s degree plus four (4) additional years of related experience or (b) eight (8) years total of related experience required
  • In-depth knowledge of at least one area of information technology and a solid working knowledge of system application implementation, enhancement and support methods and practices.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office required
  • Adheres to and exhibits our organizational core values as outlined by Penn State Health



PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Experience with Oracle Cerner Applications (HNAUser, privmaint, prefmaint).
  • Experience with Account Management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in healthcare and knowledge of medical terminology and workflow.
  • Experience with ServiceNow.
