The Role

Do you want to make a difference in our customers’ lives and be part of a highly collaborative, cross-functional team committed to improving the value of our client experience within Fidelity’s Institutional Client Experience Division (FI CED)? We are looking for a Representative who will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of transaction requests for Fidelity’s National Financial Services (NFS) middle office outsource customers. Transactions include new account creation, account maintenance, money movement, and transfer of assets. Clients supported by this team include registered representatives/advisors and correspondent broker-dealer home offices. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Meeting minimum productivity requirements
  • Providing quality customer service through accurate and timely processing of written requests
  • Analyzing supporting documents to confirm legal requirements have been met.
  • Delivering effective written and verbal communication to appropriate business partners and customers when requests are not in good order.
  • Gaining proficiency in additional operational processes as department needs require.
  • Completing administrative records documenting time spent on different processes

The Team

This dynamic team is a part of FI under the CED. The Team is responsible for supporting Fidelity’s National Financial Services (NFS) middle office outsource customers with timely processing of transactions and optimizing the client experience at Fidelity as it relates to Operations and Service to drive high satisfaction, quality, and efficiency for both client and Fidelity.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • College degree or minimum 2 years of work-related experience preferred
  • Brokerage Operations experience highly preferred
  • Experience with Transfer of Assets, New Accounts or Money Movement is highly preferred but not required
  • Detailed oriented with strong analysis skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment, multitask and work in multiple processing systems
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • Creative, open minded, and motivated towards continuously improve the client experience
  • Ability to explain complex process or simplify terminology to customer/plans
  • Strong understanding of customer base and service level agreements
  • Ability to clearly articulate ideas to team, department, and other business units
  • Ability to assess risk and translate business requirements to viable business solutions
  • Strong service attitude
  • Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft Suite
