UNIT DESCRIPTION:

Beaumont has opportunities for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to practice across our entire network of rehabilitation and continuing care facilities. Each of our nursing and rehabilitation facilities offers a variety of services ranging from an assisted living environment for those recovering from surgeries such as total hip replacement, to post-acute hospital care for those requiring more concentrated care.

STANDARD QUALIFICATIONS:

• high school diploma, GED or equivalent

• completed training at accredited nurse assistant training facility

• Nurse Assistant certification in the state of Michigan

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

• ability to maintain twelve (12) in-service hours annually

• knowledge of Residents’ Rights and quality of care criteria

• ability to utilize universal precautions at all times

• basic knowledge of computer
