Middleby Corporation has a great opportunity for a Residential Brand Ambassador to join the Team!

This position will report to the Vice President, Consultant Services for Middleby. This is a strategic and tactical position, working with Middleby’s Residential portfolio to expand the Middleby presence and exposure within the design community. Brands include Viking, Lynx, LaCornue, Marvel, EVO, Aga and U-LINE.

This position will provide a direct level of support for the Residential brands working with key designers and designer associations in order to grow specifications for Middleby appliances, along with providing direct brand knowledge to Designers in order to ultimately drive sales opportunity for the Middleby Residential brands

Responsibilities:

Build and maintain direct relationships with strategic design firms. This position will be expected to establish strong relationships with designers both independently and at the key industry design firms. Additionally, responsibilities of the position include the following:

  • Act as Middleby Residential product and design subject matter expert to support Designer needs on kitchen design projects.
  • Frequent interaction with Middleby Designer Services Team and Middleby Sales Representatives utilizing their existing relationships and growing new partnerships.
  • Maintain designer and firm database for key contacts and designers at the firms in order to establish communications platform for engagement regarding trainings, events, etc.
  • Work with the territory leads in order to monitor for large specification opportunities with design firms, communicating to all brands to maximize Middleby Residential placement.
  • Support designer training events and CEU programs in the showrooms across Middleby Residential brands.
  • Create and help facilitate content for designer communications and creative opportunities for Middleby Residential brands.
  • Host designer engagement seminars for groups of designers or firms in order to provide education and exposure to Middleby Residential brands leveraging the showroom and corporate resources to drive specifications and build relationships.
  • Act as communications liaison to support Residential programs including the Designer Incentive Program, the Residential Designer Competition, etc.
  • Regular interaction with Middleby Residential brand teams including VPs and DSMs in the territory.
  • Create and implement monthly reporting structure to report on Residential brands and key benchmarks for success.
  • Administrative responsibilities including monthly benchmark reporting, maintaining design event master calendars for Residential brands and interaction via corporate communication channels.
  • Some travel to support Designer projects, events or tradeshows may be required.

Skills and Experience:

Three or more years of related work experience, Ability to establish strong working relationships, Excellent communication (written and verbal) and Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment working independently or collaboratively within a team.
