CHI St. Alexius Health is a regional health network with a tertiary hospital in Bismarck, the system also consists of critical access hospitals (CAHs) in Carrington, Dickinson, Devils Lake, Garrison, Turtle Lake, Washburn and Williston and numerous clinics and outpatient services. CHI St. Alexius Health manages four CAHs in North Dakota - Elgin, Linton, and Wishek, as well as Mobridge Regional Medical Center in Mobridge, S.D. CHI St. Alexius Health offers a comprehensive line of inpatient and outpatient medical services, including: a Level II Trauma Center, primary and specialty physician clinics, home health and hospice services, durable medical equipment services, a fitness and human performance center and ancillary services throughout western and central North Dakota.

Responsibilities
Provide patient education on the proper use and maintenance of all home respiratory care
equipment.
Complete routine and emergent home visits to address compliance and education concerns.
Conduct phone calls to patients, referrals sources and physicians to coordinate patient care.
Complies with patient care and documentation procedures to ensure patient protection and safety.
Monitor patients for compliance with physician prescription and understanding of equipment and
supplies.
Responsible for provision of invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation.
Qualifications
Licensed by the state of North Dakota to practice Respiratory Care. Current CPR certification (or
completed within 60 days of employment). Valid drivers license.
Experience:
Compatible with that of a Registered Respiratory Therapist. Two years experience in home care and/or
acute care (adult and pediatric) preferred but not required.
Skills:
Good clinical evaluation skills. Mechanical aptitude required. Computer aptitude required.
