Hocking Valley Community Hospital (HVCH) is currently seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our friendly, hard-working team for the following shifts:

Respiratory - Contingent/PRN , Variable hours.
Pay rates start at $26.88/hr+ based on experience.
Shift Differential pay up to $6.00/hr.

HVCH is a 25 bed critical access hospital (CAH) with a 10 bed geriatric psych unit, and a Rural Health Clinic with Family and Pediatric services. We have over 325 employees who serve the residents and visitors of rural Logan, Ohio. HVCH has various ancillary and 24-hour emergency care services offering excellent health and well-being aide to Hocking County and surrounding areas. We Require

• Associates degree in respiratory therapy or polysomnography.
• CRT, RRT; RPSGT.
• Licensed through the Ohio Respiratory Care Board.
• Previous experience working with patients and sleep education preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications approved by the American Heart Association or obtained within 30 days of employment. Classes provided by the hospital.
• Knowledgeable of scientific principles as related to field.
• Knowledgeable of EEG.
• Ability to recognize cardiac dysrhythmias.
• Ability to communicate with patients and families effectively, considering specific populations and ensuring patient confidentiality.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of Alice 6 system.
• Knowledge of various Oximeters.
• Knowledge of various CPAP and BiPAP units.
