What are the responsibilities you ask?

• Respiratory therapist must oxygen delivery systems including Airvo high flow system
• Perform respiratory assessments on all patient
• Respiratory therapist set up and administer all routine and complex respiratory therapy procedures to patients of all ages
• Respiratory therapist complete application and operation of continuous short and long-term mechanical ventilation.
• Respiratory therapist needs to be familiar with Tracheostomy care and management
• Have the ability and be comfortable in being educators that includes nursing staff and families.

What MUST you be able to do …?

• Frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, and moving equipment.
• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate actions in volatile situations.
• Customer service abilities including effective listening skills.
• Available for consult

Qualifications you say?

• Current Florida Certified Respiratory Therapist licensure.

• Associate (Preferred)

Experience:

• Respiratory therapy: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• RRT (Preferred)
• BLS Certification (Preferred)
• RCP License (Preferred)
