The Ground Round at River's Edge in Oshkosh is hiring an enthusiastic shift manager who is passionate about the restaurant business and enjoys working in a fun, fast-paced environment. $1500 new hire bonus after 90 days!

Job Duties:

The primary responsibilities are:

• Coordinate daily Front of House restaurant operations
• Handle staffing requirements: hiring, training, scheduling, and corrective action
• Organize and supervise shifts
• Promote cooperation, teamwork and good morale among employees
• Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
• Respond efficiently and effectively to customer complaints
• Perform staff appraisals and provide feedback to employees
• Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
• Promote the restaurant brand in the community through advertising and social media

Job Requirements

• Two to three years of experience at a full-service restaurant in a front of the house position, such as server, host and/or bartender.
• Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
• Possess organizational skills to hire, train, schedule, coach and manage a diverse team of individuals in a fast-paced, seven day a week work environment.
• A passion for providing outstanding guest service and sharing that passion with your team.

Physical Requirements:

• This position requires sitting, standing, lifting, twisting, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the workday.
• The ability to lift up to 35 pounds occasionally and up to 10 pounds frequently.
