General Summary:

The New Store and Event Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining our event and store schedule of work while assisting NSO & Event Project Manager. The ability to perform administrative duties, calendars, appointment management, travel arrangements & compiling information for special project and reports. This is a rapidly changing, influential position covering multiple aspects of our business.

Customer Experience & Business Performance Focus:

  • Maintain calendar for new store opening schedule & calendar for all events
  • Implement action daily plans as instructed by NSO & Event Project Manager
  • Netsuite expert to assist with follow up on special orders and providing excellent customer service
  • Manage travel arrangements for all event staff: hotel, flights, freight schedule to/from DC and event
  • Act as a liaison between event organizers, internal departments, vendors & suppliers for general communication and follow up
  • Admin tasks to help with catering, airport transfers, general errands
  • Customer service coordination of relasts, new orders, factory tours, fed ex shipments
  • Manage and maintain inventory and tracking of event and store materials: such as banners, fixtures, signage and general supplies

Leadership Focus/Steward of the Brand:

  • Understand and able to communicate the Lucchese brand aesthetic, brand philosophy and lifestyle to the sales team, outside vendors and contract staff.
  • Work as a liaison to Lucchese cross functional business partners on project scope and timelines.
  • Learn and grow from previous openings and provide constant improvement on working methods
  • Develop strong partnerships with all relevant departments to assure effective communication in achieving event goals.

Operational Excellence Focus:

  • Demonstrated ability to produce desired results through execution, maintaining tough expense control, and ability to manage individual store budgets.
  • Ensure support teams on projects adheres to all company policies and procedures with integrity.
  • Own the execution of assigned projects/tasks with strong sense of accountability.
  • Ensure all staff stays on task, follow up’s and manage team expectations on deliverables to customers
  • Manage supplies, packing and shipping of materials and product organization.
  • Be highly responsive to issues, problem solve where possible and escalating potential issued and delays to New Store Opening Project Manager.
  • Provide support to existing store as needed for supplies and materials
  • Work closely with various department to acquire needed materials for proper execution of store opening.

Skills & Abilities Required:

  • Extreme flexibility and adaptability to work schedule with little travel only when necessary 10-15% of time
  • Passion and desire for excellence by exceeding goals successfully and consistently
  • Exceptional customer experience/engagement skills
  • Proven leadership and organizational skills
  • Strong business acumen; including POS equipment and software
  • Excellent verbal, written and technical communication skills
  • Strong work ethic, ability to problem solve and highly organized.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 Software and applications along with Netsuites
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills to consistently react appropriately under pressure, apply good judgment in ambiguous situations, and demonstrated flexibility/adaptability
  • Previous retail experience should be with luxury, specialty footwear, western wear, or similar environment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Standing for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift 55 pounds safely and properly inclusive of unloading fixture and merchandise trucks as well as stocking shelves
  • Ability to push/pull fixtures weighing up to 100 pounds
  • Frequent walking, bending, kneeling, standing, and climbing in/out of trucks
  • Frequent handling of equipment (hand-held scanner, price guns, box cutters, hand tools, hand trucks, pallet jack, tape-guns, etc.)
  • Loading/unloading semi-trucks
  • Building stock shelving and loading stock onto shelving in proper sequence
  • Occasional exposure to outside weather conditions
  • Must be 18 years of age
