Sales Associate:

START AT $15 for PART TIME & $18 FOR FULL TIME

WHO WE ARE:

- The Island Cabana is a small business located on the North end of Anna Maria Island. We pride ourselves in our customer service. We create a personal shopping experience that have customers coming back year after year. We carry a variety of different of clothing lines as well as jewelry and home decor. We are looking for an individual excited about the fashion industry that has great customer service skills.

WHAT WE EXPECT:

Must stay knowledgeable about the range of products sold in the store.

Must recommend related products to increase customers’ options and enrich the shopping experience

Assist customers with requests in store and on the phone

Operate the POS register

Solid communication and interpersonal skills

Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices

Must be able to handle doing multiple jobs at once; working the register, talking to customers, working on projects.

Stamp, mark, and tag prices on merchandise

Ring up customers at the cash register, take payments, and issue receipts

Must be able to work as a team with coworkers.

Ability to perform under pressure

High attention to detail

Ability to maintain a professional appearance

Be able to adapt and learn new things quickly

Be able to stand on their feet for 8 hours

We are looking for our full time and part time spots to be filled.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

• Every weekend
• Monday to Friday
