Associates degree in Business, Accounting, or Other Equivalent Program

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Other Equivalent Program (preferred)
-
At least 3-5 years’ experience in a physician practice or related healthcare setting that may include job specific competencies such as but not limited to the areas of coding, patient accounting, compliance, registration, and quality measurement.
-
At least 3-5 years’ management/supervisory experience required.

Certified Coder (preferred)
-
Ability to analyze and interpret data-Problem Solving/Analytical Skills
-
Knowledge and use of Excel to quickly interpret large amounts of data; including pivot tables, vlookup, and other summary functions.

Ability to communicate courteously and effectively, acts within the chain of command, and utilizing positive verbal and non-verbal skills.

Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills and the ability to educate personnel at all levels.

Ability to document and design workflow processes.

Demonstrate skills in Critical Thinking, Diplomacy, and Relationship building

Communication Skills both oral and written.

Knowledge of compliance and attention to detail.

Manual dexterity and mobility.

Prolonged, extensive or continuous sitting/standing/walking > 7 hours per day.

Frequently per hour: bends; squats; kneels; twists; turns; and reaches.

Near acuity: ability to see clearly at 20 inches or less.

Ability to frequently drive to various practice locations.

Primarily works remotely.

Limited exposure to the risk of blood borne diseases when in clinics.
