The AutoCad/Revit Specialist position will require a intermediate knowledge of AutoCad/Revit Software. This position will also require the ability to read architectural construction plans/details and to learn food service equipment specifications. The Autocad/Revit specialist will be responsible for working closely with the project management team to build accurate food service equipment plans, elevations, shop drawing, and 3D models.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for food service drawing production in both REVIT/Autocad environments as required
• Assignments will be completed utilizing information provided by project engineering, architectural, or technical services staff under the direction of a supervisor
• Primary job function is to draft, in AutoCad/REVIT, supplemental food service drawing package, to be included into architectural drawing schematic, design development, permit, construction drawing submittal packages
• Candidate will produce new drawings and revise existing drawings using the most cost-effective methods available
• The individual will be closely supervised and their work will be reviewed on a regular basis by a higher-level position
• Prepare bills of material, schedules, and assist engineering personnel with formal drawing transmittal and construction issues.
• A trained CAD Operator is able to use CAD techniques and apply them to company procedures and standards
• In most cases, food service drafters, designers, and project managers work in a team environment to provide quality work, meeting their organization's expectations

Qualifications:

• Able to read architectural drawing and blueprints
• Prepares documentation to support design drawings
• Requires familiarity with drafting techniques and engineering concepts and terminology
• Must be able to read and comprehend detailed customer requirements, data sheets and supplier specifications

Education/Certifications:

• Minimum of an Associates Degree in Drafting or equivalent

Experience/Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum of (2) two years drafting experience preferred
• Minimum of (2) two years experience using Autocad & Revit Software or at least be proficient with these software platforms to perform job functions to meet deadlines
• Advanced knowledge of food service equipment preferred

Other Skills/Abilities: Able to work independently, multi-tasking, teamwork, strong communication skills. Proficient with Autocad, Revit, Bluebeam & Sketchup
