Job description: The role is responsible for planning, development, and administration of the risk management program for Rauch’s North American operations and responsible for leading and advising the Company on material risks, identifying potential vulnerability within the company and provides guidance regarding the best method of mitigating or eliminating such risk, and will create the risk mitigation strategy for North America. The Risk Management functions include management of locally mandated insurance, safety, and loss prevention, claims management and other projects necessary to manage the company’s risk. In order to fulfill this purpose, the position will need to have the following qualifications:

Job Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree or 4 additional years of related experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a degree

· 8 or more years relevant experience in compliance, risk, legal or audit within the financial services or insurance industry

· Demonstrated experience working in a highly regulated environment

· Expert knowledge of relevant industry regulations and regulatory compliance in a specific area

· Advanced knowledge of compliance laws, regulations and regulatory expectations

· Demonstrated ability to apply advanced knowledge of regulatory compliance to consult and provide insight and guidance

Essential Functions

· Develop and implement the local risk and insurance strategy and guidelines to support Headquarters placed global insurance programs.

· Lead and develop commercial insurance coverages including Property, General and Automobile Liability, Workers ‘Compensation and other traditional business insurance coverage.

· Liaison to Global and Local Senior Management and other related functions for risk management and insurance and risk related issues including but not limited to contract review, claims, and risk evaluation for various initiatives.

· Responsible for managing risk management and loss control strategies for the company’s operations, including working with internal and external customers.

· Oversee, manage, and liaise on claims (the coverage, adjustment and settlement) for all lines of coverage, including but not limited to Workers‘ Compensation, property, liability and auto claims working directly with outside counsel, third party claims administrator and the insurance carrier, as necessary.

· Responsible for risk management accounts and expenses, including risk management budget, loss reserves and claims costs.

· Responsible for identifying and overseeing relationships with vendors, including but not limited to the brokers and insurance carriers selected by headquarters.

· Develop, train and provide guidance and technical subject-matter expertise for risk and insurance matters to the organization on company protocol, procedures, and internal forms.

· Manage on-site at events and monitors all operational risk management activities of the organization.

· Work is performed in an office/manufacturing setting

· Comfortable working in an all-electronic environment

· This position is exposed to occupational hazards, including but not limited to high noise levels, physical obstacles, exposure to chemicals, etc.

· Must wear appropriate safety glasses, hearing protection, clothing, and footwear in appropriate areas and follow safety practices

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $110,000.00 per year
