Swann Communications is seeking an RMA and AR Specialist to join its Finance Team!

Reporting to the Director of Accounting, the RMA and AR Specialist is responsible for issuing returns authorizations and processing returns as well as reconciling with AR. The RMA and AR Specialist will also assist with ad-hoc projects as needed. The successful candidate will be a dedicated self-starter looking for exposure to varied and new challenges as part of a small finance team.

As a RMA and AR Specialist at Swann Communications, you will need experience performing these functions:

• Collection of and resolution of all RMAs (non-warranty)
• Retail direct or through a 3PL
• Communicate weekly with all 3PLs:
• Process CMs for all RMAs received by the above
• Research and resolve all discrepancies
• Call Retail stores directly to get tracking info
• Research and resolve all receiving discrepancies with Swann Receiving Dept.
• Ability to go online to our Customer and 3PL portals to gather information.
• Directly dispute all inaccurate shipments with retail customers
• Close out the RMA process by clearing RMAs against charge backs
• Continuous process improvement, make recommendations to improve efficiencies
• Be proactive – aim is to resolve all issues within 2 weeks
• Cross-Train functions with AR Accounting Clerk.
• Ability to process customer CMs for non RMA reasons
• Cash Receipts application
• Collection of aged receivables

Qualifications

• 2-3 years relevant work experience
• Intermediate excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables)
• Curiosity, self-discipline, and desire to perform
• Ability to demonstrate attention to detail and good record-keeping practices.
