This is a full time Nurse (RN) Manager responsible for the MedSurg and Telemetry departments at NMC Sahuarita.

As an organization leader, this position shares accountability for facilitating organizational and department goals using effective leadership knowledge, skills and abilities that ensure achievement of expected results for patient/customer service, employee engagement, financial health, business growth and quality and safety outcomes.

Plans and implements the overall nursing policies, procedures, and services for a unit. Maintains nursing staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training clinical staff. Ensures that nurses are current in competencies, assessments, licensure, certifications, and other annual training. May provide direct patient care and is responsible for assessing, planning, and evaluating patients. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others.

Education

Required: Associates degree or Diploma in nursing program
Preferred: Bachelors degree (BSN) in nursing.

Experience

Required: Five (5) years experience in the area of specialty, and two (2) years of supervisory/management experience.

Licenses/Certifications

Required: Current Arizona RN license or compact state license and American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross(ARC) BLS & ACLS
