GENERAL MANAGER

Experience & Requirements:

• Minimum of two years experience in a management role (sales or general manager) in the roofing industry within Georgia.
• Established relationships with referral sources (i.e. insurance agents, realtors, suppliers and previous customers)
• Experience ordering materials and scheduling subcontractors
• Expertise in preparing residential and commercial roofing estimates
• Significant experience preparing insurance claim supplements
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and producing company budgets/projections
• Experience managing profit & loss statement
• Experience hiring and team building

• Traveling across our service area as needed for on-site projects
• Completion of the Mighty Dog Roofing University Training Process
• Working with Microsoft Office Suite and any CRM
• Ability to speak Spanish is beneficial, but not required

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for over-seeing the day to day operations and profitability of the branch
• Build and train Sales Team
• Generate sustainable and organic revenue and relationships
• Create/integrate policies/procedures
• Create compensation plan for Sales Team
• Develop sales training plan
• Submit payroll to owners for review
• Create Business Plan and Financial Budgets (90 days. 6 months, 1 year, and 2 years)
• Scoping project estimates with the sales team for homeowners and potential customers
• Reviewing approved projects to ensure quality control
• Ordering project materials and coordinating deliveries
• Scheduling projects with customers and subcontractors
• Managing on-site roofing replacement and repair projects, ensuring all requirements are delivered and company policies followed
• Overseeing subcontractors on-site, ensuring project is fully completed and safety and customer satisfaction maintained throughout the project
• Communicating with customers before, during, and after projects to ensure great customer experiences
• Ensuring budget and timeframe expectations are met
• Track and submit commission reports for owner review
• Maintain 5 star reviews on Google and other platforms
• Weekly 1 on 1 meetings with Owners
• Business Development and Networking
• Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations and clubs, and attending trade shows and conferences.

New, unexpected challenges will arise, and the General Manager will be expected to solve these challenges, calling in appropriate support and expertise as needed. The GM will be the main point of contact for the Dallas territory.

There will also be opportunities for continuous improvement in our processes and the General Manager is expected to deliver solutions that can enhance our team’s efficiency and effectiveness.

Work Environment:

Mighty Dog Roofing’s General Manager will be responsible for a variety of both on-site projects and office-related tasks. This role will report directly to the Franchise Owner(s) based in our Dallas, TX office.

Position Type/Expected hours worked:

This is a full-time position; some on-site projects are likely to require early mornings and late afternoons beyond a typical ‘9 to 5’ job. Regular, punctual, and consistent attendance is required.
