Consultant - RPA (Robotic Process Automation) Developer (UiPath)

The robotic process automation developer is responsible for developing solutions utilizing the UiPath platform to optimize and automate business processes.

Key responsibilities:

• Works with clients and business owners to document As Is Process, including review of Process Definition Document.

• Participate in agile methodology activities and ceremonies for product implementation and project delivery

• Creates and maintains Solution Definition Document (SDD) throughout automation lifecycle.

• Adherence to documented RPA framework, build and delivery best practices.

• Work with a core project team to design, develop, code-review and test solutions

• Debug problem-causing code using standard IDE tools and offer better solutions, think outside the box to figure out problem areas in code

• Effectively engage with the team to solve all surfacing problems at hand, pair program and/or perform code review

• Convert project specifications, using flowcharts and diagrams, into sequence of detailed instructions and logical steps; and develop efficient code with appropriate design patterns and data structures

• Analyze workflow chart and diagram, applying knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter, and symbolic logic

• Converts data from project specifications and statement of problem and procedures to create or modify computer programs, applying knowledge of programming techniques and computer systems

• Plan, scope, size, architect, design, prototype, and engineer solution components

• Hands-on engineering of difficult and complex sections of the application

• Ownership of the full lifecycle of the platform: brainstorming, development, delivery

• Produce detailed functional and technical software specification documents for scalable applications

• Rapidly embrace and implement new technologies

• Other key activities include: Requirements assessment and estimation, Application design and modeling, Development, Testing and Deployment, as well as ongoing product Maintenance and Support

• Analyzes, reviews, and rewrites programs to increase operating efficiency or to adapt program to new requirements

• Be up-to-date with current software trends and of new and popular tech stack

Preferred Qualifications:

• Years of experience: 3-5 years of RPA (Robotic Process Automation) experience
• UiPath Certification
• Education: Bachelor's Degree Computer Science – Engineer or related experience equivalent

Critical Skills:

• Various RPA platforms/technology/tool capabilities, such as (a) BluePrism, (b) Automation Anywhere, (c) PowerAutomate, (d) UiPath, and etc.
• Good working Knowledge of PowerShell, Python, or other scripting languages
• Good working Knowledge of Windows Desktop environments and Microsoft Office products.

Other skills/experience would be helpful to have?

• Strong technology interest and aptitude
• Problem-solver and creative thinker
• 2-3 years development experience on Windows 2008 and Windows 2012
• Experience with code version control tools
• Experience programing in other languages (Python, .Net, etc.)
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
