Rutland Public Schools seeks a dynamic, diligent, creative, student-oriented, experienced school leader who will provide exceptional leadership for the Rutland Intermediate School as Assistant Principal. Our grade 3 through 6 school is a vibrant learning environment that will require the new assistant principal to be a leading learner. This position will work in close partnership with the Principal and one other Assistant Principal. While this position serves the entire school community, there is a focus on curriculum, instruction and data analysis.Applicant must demonstrate an impressive work ethic, strong interpersonal skills, a solid understanding of trauma informed approaches and be well versed in restorative practices. In addition, proven experience in motivating colleagues, as well as students, to maximize their potential is essential. Licensure, or eligibility for the same, as a Vermont Principal is required. Position commences July 1, 2023.
