Summit Technical Solutions (STS) is seeking a Risk Vulnerability Analyst Manager, Missile Defense to lead data gathering, research, and analysis while conducting threat, vulnerability, risk, and maturity assessments. They will execute independent verification and validation, analysis and reporting for Government-off-the-Shelf (GOTS) Commercial-off-the-Shelf (COTS), and Open Source Software (OSS) used by the Missile Defense Agency.

Note: This posting is in anticipation of a contract award and work will be located in the Huntsville, Alabama area.

Essential Job Functions

• Apply critical thinking, conduct gap analysis, develop and implement plans for the improvement of the Software Assessment program; may lead/manage a team of cybersecurity specialists.
• Conduct manual and automated software code analysis.
• Analyze STIGS, IAVA, and scan results.
• Prepare assessment reports documenting risk recommendation.
• Update eMASS.

Skills

• Must be familiar with common security libraries, security controls, and common security flaws
• Experience with OWASP, static/dynamic analysis, and common security tools
• Knowledge of one or more general purpose programming/script languages such as Java, C/C++, C#, Python, JavaScript, Bash and PowerShell
• Experience in a DevOps environment and technical knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or similar technologies.
• Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle and software development mythologies such as Agile, SCRUM, LEAN, or DevOps
• Understanding of Automation tools for developing software factory pipelines (CI/CD Pipelines).
• Familiar with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or other cloud infrastructures.
• Experience developing and updating SOPs and technical documents
• Development of Security Assessment Plans (SAPs)

Experience Required:

• Position requirements are identified as DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level III prior to accepting position.
• 12+ years of Cybersecurity-field experience
• 8+ years of management

Education Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems or related field.

Other Requirements

• Top Secret Security Clearance/SCI
